How to Make Your Personal Brand Stick with Your Target Clients

In the real estate industry, it’s no surprise that you may switch companies a few times during your career. Here’s a fact: The industry average sees agents switching offices up to three times over a 10-year period. But what does this mean for your personal brand as an agent?

Boost Your Sales with These 10 Tips for Writing CTAs That Convert

For real estate professionals, leading prospective buyers and sellers to take action can be difficult. An appropriate CTA (call-to-action) can retain the interest of your audience by guiding them to the information they need or the action they want to take.

But what exactly is a CTA?

To simplify, a call to action can encourage viewers to contact you about any of their real estate needs. A call to action is a phrase that prompts readers to do something. These commonly employ power words such as “Buy now!” to encourage a desired action. The right statement can be the key to converting passive viewers into active leads.

In this blog post, we will explore the top 5 tips that can help you create effective CTAs, leading to more conversions and long-term relationships with potential customers.

Ready? Let’s go!

  • Avoid generic language in your call to action (CTA) and instead, be specific about the action you want your potential buyers to take. Using specific and clear language can make a big difference in getting customers to take action. For example, instead of using phrases like “click here” or “learn more,” try using more targeted language like “Schedule a FREE consultation today!”.
  • One effective strategy for CTAs is to address potential objections that your buyers or sellers might have. For instance, if you anticipate that some may not be able to meet in person, consider including a line in your CTA like, “Schedule an appointment, whether in-person or virtual and get the answers you need hassle-free!”
  • A humorous tone can help make your call-to-action more memorable and engaging. For example, you might consider using phrases like “Don’t be shy–hit that button, and let’s get started!” or “Schedule a viewing, or we’ll have to resort to begging!” Emojis are another way to add personality to your CTA. Try using a house emoji next to your “Schedule a viewing” button or a money bag emoji next to your “Request a free consultation” button to make your CTA more visually appealing.
  • Testimonials are an effective way to differentiate yourself from competitors and convince potential customers to follow through with your call-to-action. When including a testimonial in an email, it is essential to display a quote and photo of the satisfied customer below their quote in order to establish credibility and showcase success.
  • A pop-culture reference or creative language can make your CTA more relatable and engaging. For example, you could say something like, “If you like it, then you should put an offer on it” (a reference to Beyoncรฉ’s “Single Ladies” song). Also, don’t be afraid to get creative with your language. For example, instead of “Schedule a viewing,” you could say, “Step inside your dream home,” or instead of “Submit a lead form,” you could say, “Let’s get this real estate train moving!”

When you are creating calls-to-action and marketing efforts, make sure they align with the values of your brand identity. Remember that marketing is a continuous process of experimentation, so don’t be afraid to try out new ideas and assess their effectiveness.
